I originally wrote this song in 1998 for my band, Superman's Suicide just before we recorded our very first demo ever. In 1999, we recorded a much better/superior version which became our legacy. When my next band, Empty Handed NJ, we started off playing covers and a reworked version of this song. We ended up recording our own version for our demo (2000) and full length album (2001).

I decided to record this acoustic version because it meant a lot to my musical path. I can remember sitting on the edge of my bed in 1998 working out the song and soon after the newest song on my very first demo. I still remember opening and closing sets with this song. I remember filling in on bass for some friends and them playing this song with me and seeing my best friends/bandmates singing along word for word right in front of me.
